Call for submissions for Rosebud Festival For 18 years, the Rosebud Festival has awarded large cash prizes, film and video products, and promotional opportunities to deserving film and video artists in DC, Maryland and Virginia. The Rosebud Festival seeks works that are innovative, experimental, unusual and deeply personal. Each year an independent panel selects 20 nominees from all entries received. All 20 finalists will be screened at a special Nominee Showcase, on Saturday, June 14, 2008, at the Rosslyn Spectrum Theater. The 5 winners - including one Best of Show - will be announced at a gala awards celebration, on the evening of June 15th, at the beautiful Clarendon Ballroom. In addition to promotional opportunities and special screenings, the 5 winners will each receive $1,000.00 cash.
